1.) We have seen this when you are running Windows 10 and running from the PC.
Cause - Changes in Windows and USB settings are allowing slight interruption in the transmission of code to the CNC Control Panel.
Quick Solution - (HD4) only run projects by saving them to the USB then run from the CNC Control Panel with the USB drive attached to the CNC Control Panel. All PC ran version check that USB Power Management is turned off for each USB Hub in Windows Device Manager.
2.) Versions of your CNC Control Panel and LCD firmware are no longer matched.
Cause - updates on only the LCD or only the Control Panel have resulted in intermittent errors in communication between the two pieces of hardware.
HD4 - On CNC LCD screen lower left Select "Apps" then "About LCD" or "About Control Panel"
Solution - check the version numbers and dates on your firmware.
Use your Control Panel software to follow prompts that automatically go to our website and download the latest firmware. Just follow the prompts and update both to matched versions.
As of January 2018 the latest versions are now July of 2017.
