What materials can I carve with a Shark CNC?

The following materials have been officially approved for use with the CNC Shark Series:

ABS
Acrylic
HDPE
Hard and soft woods of any natural wood species
Wood composites
Aluminum or soft metals*
Corian
FR1 Machinable Circuit Board Blanks
Delrin
Expanded PVC
Machinable foam
Machinable wax

To achieve the best carving results, it is important to use proper cut settings and ensure effective chip removal. For guidance on determining the optimal feed and speed values, refer to the Starting example Bit settings. While it is possible to work with materials other than those listed above, Next Wave CNC cannot guarantee satisfactory results in such cases.

*To obtain optimal results when working with aluminum and non-ferrous metals, it is necessary to use lubrication and tools specifically designed for metal machining.
