Saving a Toolpath is the final step in the Vcarve process where the toolpaths created in the project are saved in a file format (.tap) that can be run on the Next Wave CNC machines. To ensure the correct post-processors for your machine are available when saving your toolpaths, see the steps for Adding Post-Processors to Vcarve/Aspire and for Machine Database v11. Attached to the bottom of this article is a quick PDF guide for saving a toolpath and gives a description of how to save a single toolpath or multiple toolpaths to one file. Below you will also find several Vectric resources for saving a toolpath.
