Saving a Toolpath is the final step in the Vcarve process where the toolpaths created in the project are saved in a file format (.tap) that can be run on the Next Wave CNC machines. To ensure the correct post processors for your machine are available when saving your toolpaths, see the steps for Adding Post-Processors to Vcarve/Aspire and for Machine Database v11. Attached to the bottom of this article is a quick PDF guide for saving a toolpath and gives a description of how to save a single toolpath or multiple toolpaths to one file. Below you will also find several Vectric resources for saving a toolpath.
